Many years have passed since I downloaded my first torrent file, which from an ethical point of view it may be regarded as illegal, but there is a second opinion that has a noble purpose behind. Probably, if you are a high school student you may not know what I’m talking about, therefore, in this article I’m going to show you the steps that you need to follow in order to understand it. I'm not going to touch cumbersome concepts, I'm just going to tell you how to download the programs. This article arises because many students have asked me how could they prepare themselves to take the TOEFL iBT if they don’t have enough money to buy a book, or similarly, how could they prepare to take the SAT General Test... What you have to do is the following:
1. Download Deluge
The installation process only takes a couple of clicks. deluge-torrent.org is a BitTorrent client, in simple words, it is the software that will allow you to download files from someone’s computer on the network.
2. Go to Piratebay
For example, if you want to find information about the TOEFL iBT, go to thepirate-bay.org and follow the steps given in the following image:
Over time you will discover that besides books you can also download 3D files and programs. Those programs that say pre-cracked in the title are the easiest to install because only a couple of clicks are needed to have them working properly on your computer. Others will come with instructions in their .txt files. And some others will have the Disc Image File (.iso) format, which you will have to copy to a CD/DVD to proceed with the installation. I don’t need to give you further details, because if you are very curious, you will be able to find out much more interesting things by yourself. And of course, keep in mind that there will also be corrupted files that won’t work. Finally, remember uncle’s Ben wise words: “With great power comes great responsibility.”
